Around The Club — With the hot summer days (almost) behind us, we are still heating up around the Club with some fantastic tournaments and activities for everyone to enjoy, so make sure you check out this month’s calendar of events. While the beginning of college football tends to slow things down, this is the perfect time of the year for golf. In other words, we still expect a very busy few months!
Speaking of hot summer days, we made it through some very long, hot days, but we made it through the summer months unscathed. The course held up beautifully, and all the credit goes to Chuck Connolly and the rest of the maintenance staff.
Hopefully, you have noticed some of the projects and renovations that are underway around the club. From the new deck overlooking the 18th green, removal of the hedge along the tee, and the installation of our new bridge on #1, a lot of great things are taking place at SCC.
It is our goal to provide plenty of options (whether golf or social) to give all our members plenty of reasons to continue using the club throughout the fall and winter months. Please keep a close eye on all the emails we send as this will be our #1 source for letting you about any and all upcoming events.
